1. What we collect
- Contact details — name, phone, email you submit when requesting help.
- Vehicle & issue — make/model and a free-text description of the problem.
- Photos — any images you upload to help the mechanic diagnose.
- Location — approximate or precise GPS coordinates, only when you grant the browser permission.
- Live mechanic location — broadcast by the mechanic only while a job is active.
2. How we use it
Strictly to dispatch help, share ETA with you, and let the mechanic find you. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
3. Sharing
Your request details are visible to Road Rescue staff and the assigned mechanic. Anyone with the tracker link for a request can see live status — treat that link like a password.
4. Retention
Service requests are retained for record-keeping and dispute resolution. You may request deletion by contacting help@roadrescue.app.
5. Security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, and protected by row-level access policies. No system is 100% secure — please do not submit sensitive information beyond what's needed to receive help.
6. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.
