Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using Road Rescue (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Road Rescue is — and is not
Road Rescue is a directory and communication platform that helps drivers find and contact independent roadside providers. Road Rescue does not provide roadside assistance, towing, or repair services, and does not dispatch, employ, or supervise providers.
3. Independent providers
Providers listed on the Service are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or contractors of Road Rescue. Each provider is solely responsible for its services, pricing, licensing, insurance, conduct, and compliance with law. Providers agree to our Provider Agreement.
4. Your choice; no guarantees
You choose which provider to contact. Road Rescue does not guarantee and makes no representation about any provider's availability, arrival time, quality, pricing, qualifications, licensing, insurance, background, or safety. Ratings, reviews, and "Verified listing" badges are informational only and are not an endorsement or warranty.
5. Safety and emergencies
The Service is not an emergency service. In any life-threatening situation, contact your local emergency number first. Use your judgment: stay in a safe place, confirm the provider's identity, and agree on a price before work begins.
6. Payments
You pay providers directly. Road Rescue is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any agreement, payment, refund, or dispute between you and a provider.
7. Reviews and reports
You may rate providers after a completed job and report problems. Content you submit must be truthful and lawful. We may moderate or remove content and listings at our discretion.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Road Rescue and its owners, officers, and staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury, property damage, or loss arising from services performed by providers or interactions between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Road Rescue from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms. Providers additionally indemnify Road Rescue as described in the Provider Agreement.
11. Disputes
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at help@roadrescue.app and try to resolve it informally for 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY], and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [VENUE], unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
